Description:

ANNA.F, the 1948 built former SULIMA of Elder Dempster Lines was photographed by the late Dick Parsons (negative obtained courtesy of John Hill and scanned with thanks by Alan Lee).

She was seen at Antwerp where she was laid up with engine damage between May 1972 and September 1973 when she left for Gdansk under tow for intended repairs which were found to be uneconomic. Under tow, bound for breakers at Santander, she broke adrift and stranded south of Klaipeda 4.12.73
