Nothing official yet, but it is expected that she has been sold to a local scrapyard in Zhoushan.

THE OCEANIC just arrived today the Anchorage in Zhoushan)China. Is this vessel on the Scrap list? Does somebody knows some details?

I saw this vessel docked in NY as the OCEANIC in 1982/'83, but I was too young back then to realise what I was exactly looking at (I was six years old in 1983).
Hence, I deeply regret not having taken that less than one hour drive to the Noordzeekanaal last year :-(

A lot nicer looking vessel than most of the modern cruise ships

She's such a beauty! - @ crazyboutships: According to Maritime Matters she will be replaced by Ocean Dream (IMO. 7915096), Carnival's Tropicale of 1981.
