I have seen a few on my travels in the Med. or N Europe. That said, at the time I had no idea of the provenance of these little ships I had pictured so this site has filled a gap in my education !

My pleasure, Don. I think I found THE reason to book a cruise. But I'm still undecided whether it should be the Mediterranean or the Caribbean. Where do I find more Sietas oldies???:-))

Sietas type no. 33 (30 units in three variations built between 1964 and 1968), yard. no. 568, launched 09.12.1965, delivered 30,12,1965 as Hasselwerder to Walter Bartels, Hamburg. I've her second name (1966/67) listed as "City of Dublin", though, not "City of Le Havre"...
