Ha, today we had Queen Elizabeth here!!! ... but I didn't catch her:-( She was scheduled to leave at 5pm, but when she hadn't shown up by 6 I left (the lighting wasn't good anyway). She left at 8pm then...

Thanks, Stan. At first I wanted to do away with the pilot boat via Photoshop, but then (unselfish as I am) I thought: Why not make a certain pilot boat addicted member happy?:-D And besides it would have ruined the balance of this marvelous tug-photo as the tanker is (I'm surprised that this is so obvious) a bit dominant...

Great pilot boat Shot, Jens! And larded with a nice (Ko)tug. The tanker is a bit dominant but completes this nice pilot boarding scene. seeya Stan

Yes, Clyde, in fact I'm quite happy with this photo, too. Not too many larger crude oil tankers around here, so I don't get such an opportunity that often. "Self deletion club" - that's nice. But it's not too easy to become a member, you have to force yourself to do the first step...:-D

That's dramatic Jens, including looking through the bridge. And it's good to note another member of the self deletion club.

Thanks, Denis! This is a replacement for a similar photo I've uploaded back in 2008 and which I just deleted. This one is, I think, more in accordance with today's quality standards.
