Australia's only cruise ship trading internationally is the Oceanic Discoverer seen moored in Harrison Cove, Milford Sound, with Milford Sound's iconic Mitre Peak in the background. Just 1779 gross tons she was completed by North Queensland Engineering at Cairns for Coral Sea Cruises as Oceanic Princess, but objections from another company using the Princess nomenclature soon lead to a change of name. A very comfortable little ship cruising to some exotic destinations.
