Description:
OLYMPIC, photographed transiting the Kiel Canal on 30th June 1968 during a loaded voyage from Lubeck to Varna, was launched at Odense on 24th October 1936 as GUDRUN MAERSK.
Sold by Maersk in 1955, she became SANDAA until 1962, then MATEO until purchased in 1966 by Evia Cia Nav S.A. (J.Pisiakis) who renamed her MAYA and then OLYMPIC earlier in 1968
