By the way where do these guys fish and what are they fishing for - I assume its quite a short season? Would be interested in any info you know about them - we never see Japanese vsls around here so pleased to see your pics of them.

Merry Christmas to you and yours over there. Thanks very much for the information on the Goei Maru 68.
As far as I know these fishing vessels fish for tuna over here, there have been 4 or 5 in port this past week and another one is due tomorrow. I'll take as many pictures as I can of them and let you know.
