Description:
LAUSITZ, built in 1952 at Nakskov as ESTRID TORM, was photographed by Koos Riedijk soon after the ship's purchase by East Germany, passing Maassluis outbound from Rotterdam.
LAUSITZ was in service with DSR from 23.05.1966 to 01.09.1977 but laid up Rostock port in 1976/7 and used as a grain store
Sold September 1977 - SYNALITHIA (G.A. Callitsis, Piraeus)
Arrived Eleusis 10.12.82 for breaking (work began 25.5.84)
