Description:

The 1953 Vickers Armstrong, Newcastle, built tanker PYLAREUX was photographed passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth, on 9th October 1971.

Built as SAXONGLEN for the Bermuda based Imperial Sg Investment Co Ltd, she became WORLD GLEN in 1956, ADAMANTIA in 1966 and PYLAREUX in 1970.


Fire-damaged 10.10.72, she finally arrived at Kaohsiung on 30.3.73 to be broken up.
