Description:
H.C.Stülcken Sohn (also known as Stülcken-Werft), founded at Hamburg in 1840 by Heinrich Christoph Stülcken, had in 1952 built sisterships ADELE and AMELIA for the Zurich Shipping Company of Basle. They were almost immediately taken on charter by Saguenay Terminals and renamed SUN-ADELE and SUN-AMELIA, then in 1953 became SUNADELE and SUNAMELIA.
SUNAMELIA, photographed sailing from Avonmouth on 26th March 1965, reverted to AMELIA in 1968 and was sold to Greece in 1970 to become SILVER STAR, then in 1974 became MALDIVE ENERGY as which she is seen at Singapore in July 1977. She arrived Kaohsiung 10.3.80 to be broken up
