I'd guess, the "fenced" walkway is for safe walking in rough weather, while the one on the other side is for rolling equipment.

I notice with interest the port side walkway (in green), is 'fenced' but the starboard side is not. Any reason for this?

Hi Adi & Dan, thanks for the info. I guess she is arriving to load coal?
I had a good look on Google maps at the bulk terminal in Constantza, and yes, it is a large operational site! It appears that you have to negotiate a 90 degree turn on entering the berths area.
I am sure there is sufficient room for her....

The port's terminals operate iron ores, bauxite, coal and coke and can operate ships 250,000 dwt,Dry bulk terminal have 13 berths, with depths up to 10m to 19 m.

The port of Constantza is the largest on the Black Sea and there is enough space in the ore terminal for this vessel.

Mai am ceva dar aceasta mi s-a parut cea mai frumoasa.
Oricum, poza nu-mi apartine, o am prin amabilitatea unuia dintre pilotii care au intrat cu nava in port si caruia tin sa-i multumesc inca o data pe aceasta cale !
