When I sailed on this ship in August 1988 I don't suppose I would have imagined that she would have still been in service 24 years later. Super photo.

Yes, she is marvellous. She is currently laid up at Agotnes, not far from Bergen.
She has sailed a distance of 7400000 km ore 4000000 nm equal to 185 times around the earth.
She has also 1552 roundtrips Bergen-Kirkenes-Bergen, in her 55 years as "Hurtigruten".

What a marvellous looking elderly ship and presumably still trading. She will be laid up and protected for the harsh Norwegian winter surely?
