Pride of Calais is chartered by TEF for 3 years. She is now manned by a TEF crew and is expected to leave Tilbury on wednesday. She will then be doing berthing trials in Ramsgate.

Hi Ralph, could well be, it is a bit uncertain as to her future at the moment and as I said it was only hearsay, several suggestions were made about the Pride of Dover especially when they painted over her funnel colours, but she is still there.

Ken

Hi Ken, don't you mean TransEuropa Ferries rather than LD? She would look good in TEF colors!
These ships appear to be rather unfit for anything else than short, busy crossings. I wonder if they would work in for instance the Philippines.

Hi Ralph,

It is rumoured and I stress rumoured that she is in for a refit for service on the LD run from Ramsgate, as for the Pride of Dover, well she has laid there for so long unattended who knows her fate.

Kind regards
Ken

Very successful ship by most accounts. I hope there is a future after P&O for her and her sister.
