Fergal: this class was a particularly enduring one. Two ships got scrapped in the late 90s (the ones that went to Iran, the NOOR and HOOD), but all the others only went to the knacker's yard between 2006 and 2012. Very successful ships indeed!

Wow.. what a shame :( I would expect to see a vessel like this to have been scrapped many years ago.. but just 2 :( she looks so well

no doubt that those are the last good looking reefer vessels all behind these are more or less container ships

Beautiful oldie. Sadly, she was scrapped three months after this picture was taken (B/U Alang 1/7/'10). The last remaining vessel of this once 8-strong class, SNOW DRIFT, was scrapped earlier this year.
