Hi Tony. I agree with your reaction. I don't think we need a specific human interest category as the Comments often display that - not only for the marvelous old photos but also for those of ships still in service previously sailed on by members.

I do not believe it is of general interest when Comments merely boast about voyages made.

THANKS FOR POSTING THIS BEAUTY!
My grandparents, with my 1 1/2 year old father, sailed on this SS Doric from Yokohama on June 2, 1900, to San Francisco via Honolulu, arriving in San Francisco on June 18th, 1900. The Doric was chartered to O&O (Occidental & Oriental) SS Co. from 1896 to 1905. The Commander on this voyage was H. Smith RNR. I have a passenger list copy from that voyage which includes the daily log, and photos taken by my grandparents during embarkation and on board.
