This vessel will never fit into the port of Gedser nor into the new built berths at both sides of the link.

The Scandlines thing is definitely false. I don't know where it came from but the Pride of Calais is definitely going to Trans Europa Ferries as Ostend Spirit!

To operate for Scandlines, it/they would have to be converted with loading ramps fitted. No such problem/expense with Ramsgate-Ostend, where ramped linkspans are used, the same as at Dover and Calais.
The necessity to fit ship-board loading ramps - that feature on the majority of ferry routes around the world - has always made redundant Dover-Calais ferries a little more difficult to sell.

But also now unconfirmed Scandlines report that they have bought the pair for conversion in Turkey to one large double-ended ferry for Rostock-Gedser following cancellation of the two newbuildings at Rostock. These could turn out to be rare photos!

Yep, she has been chartered to TEF for three years. Also some rumours going round that TEF might also be getting the PRIDE OF DOVER after refit in Turkey.

Will this ship sail for TEF Lines then ?

First photo under her new name, well done Doug. Look forward to seeing her in her new colours in the new year (and maybe even her sister)
