IMO 7404085 belongs to the SEA HORSE, ex-ROBIN IX, which is US flagged, and operates for Crowley. Thus it belongs with this photo, as this tug matches the design of the Sea Robin class of McDermott-built tugs.
Your tug, it seems, is a different SEA HORSE. It looks to have been US-built, but I'm having a hard time digging up more info. A photo I found (http://www.flickr.com/photos/photorusch/8245071147/) seems to suggest it has an IMO number on the stern, but the photo is too distant to read. Yet another mystery to try and solve.

Kyle

Kyle
which tug has the right IMO ? any idea ?

CaptDag,
I concur with the IMO, the design is definitely a McDermott tug, matching the other Robins, and the IMO links to Bollinger Morgan City (Formerly McDermott). the SEA HORSE, ex ROBIN IX is still in service with Crowley, and US flagged. Capt. Ted's picture is a different design with similar features to Gary's Trinity tugs posted yesterday, and is Panamanian, so it must have a different identity.
