I don't think that balconies are particularly a necessary feature on Baltic ferries, particularly when for several months of the year it would be way too cold to use them and journey times are counted in hours rather than days.

It is in alternative a marvelous solution that the passengers on their cruise(s) can take their cars with them & drive around the ports & places they visit.

: this *cruiser* ship hasn't any cabin balconies on her, that's amazing, but for today, also a breath-taking design !!
