Originally an underpowered stern trawler and then converted to marine seismic operations (oil exploration). Known mainly as the HANS EGEDE and operated by Sefel Geophysical late 70s and early 80s working West Africa and East Canada including the Grand Banks. As far as I am aware, scuttled Banquera Bank near Sable Island mid 80s. She was alongside Dartmouth NS sometime from 1983 being derigged.
