Hi Bernt, thank you for this news & photo - & it was about time RG 1 went to scrap! The poor old girl was a noisy, vibrating ship with poor passenger facililities. Operating costs may have been high, but it was expensive for car & passengers on the 4 and half hours jorney from Vaasa to Umeå & vice versa. I wonder which vessel RG Line will use now, if they are still operating...?

I also see The Najad at your picture. Sad she went to Grenaa.
Just 3 weeks I visited her.
