Niels you are right, as well if anyone looks at the route of the ship, it is likely used as a ship to transport goods from USA to Arabia for their troops.

Just like black color is prone to showing hull distortions/indentations, this "Maersk blue" does the same for rust...

Maersk Georgia is operated by Maersk Line Limited which is an all-American company with US mariners on the ships and an all-American board of directors. The organisation is established to operate US-flag ships mainly for government
contracts.

I think they painted over the original P&O Nedlloyd Marseille black hull after taking over the ship in 2006 and did nothing since!

On the information panel it is stated that the ship belongs to a Denmark company!
