Guys, the vessel on the rendering that Jörn shared is the project BREAKAWAY PLUS, 163,000 gt, due 2016.

Great photo and thanks Jörn, making your way there to get these photos ! I unfortunatelly have no possibility :-) Hull graphics, I have to think about that: Generally - I do not like them. Ships should not look like the first page of a MANGA comic. But then: I do not like big boring white hulls either !!! So ? :-) I think better having the graphics, they look distinctive. If I could choose: Give some of the cruiseships bright red hulls, blue ones or black ones - just like they do it right already, on the containerships.

Great picture Jorn.
Nice graphics on this vessel.

It's OK, this misunderstanding is my fault. I was mislead by the more built up ship shown in the link that Jorn gave us. I had not realised that already NCL has another class of ships to follow on from Breakaway and her sister.

Agree, the version on Denis's link looks better

Cedric, the next generation NCL ship will be as high as the EPIC, but the suites above the bridge will be tapered back, as Jorn's hyperlink shows. This one is done.

@Clive: I don't think she will have more decks added above the bridge, the radar mast is already in place so they won't remove it. The bow looks quite high though… Haven't made my mind up whether I like it or not!

If one can come to terms with 'barn door graphics', then their is a kind of striking appearance to this marine wall! mrdot.

Great shot, Jörn. Seems I'm one of a few who likes the graphics...:-)

And in my opinion, that Peter Max, whoever he is, has only made a bad name for himself putting his signature there.
Seriously, kids in kindergarten gather more praise for their "art" rather than Mr. Max here.

Superb photo, but I wish she had no graphics - looks so much better & impressive on that (http://www.meretmarine.com/sites/default/files/new_objets_drupal/ncl.jpg) render.
Too bad because of her size compared to the ones of the funnel & mast, from best angles she appears without them, besides as a "flat-topped".

Sat what you like about this ship..It's built in Europe and that's all that really matters ....really

Will this ship have an extra couple of decks added above her bridge?

Jorn, that image is of course a new, even larger NCL liner, not part of the BREAKAWAY class, closer to the EPIC class I think. And I like that all white hull there.

I like great big white hulls!:) Not a fan of Peter Max. GETAWAY's graphics will be somewhat better from what I have seen in NCL's promos. But it's all supposed to be festive, so it does what it's supposed to do.

To compare the painted vessel to "White Wall" or "White ??" see the projected N. Breakaway:

These particular graphics on this ship are subject to individual taste ... ugly or acceptable they might be ... BUT ... without any graphics painted on that position & in such the way, that ship would look like a great big *WHITE WALL* !!
Am I right ............ ?

Fabulous! Fun to see! But unfortunate how the funnels disappear in such a perspective. I wonder if that will ever cause a problem with gasses (low profile funnels)? And still too bad about those graphics!
