While very interesting, these last Italians were not the beautiful lines of the first post war vessels of the line! mrdot.

Finn, it is my understanding that NCL looked at Michelangelo and Raffaello but decided that it would be easier to convert the two-class France into a cruise ship rather than trying to convert the three-class Italia twins.

Thinking of FRANCE to NORWAY conversion, I can't help but wonder what these twins could have become in the cruise industry. I think wonderful!
