Rick, Lappino,

I quite agree re the climb up the gangway! looks like they are trying to resolve this issue. APL's first 14K vessel APL Temasek has just been launched by Hyundai Samho & it also has the gangway positioned below the freeboard deck.

Regards
Andrew

Thank you for uploading the photo of the second Triple-E. We still don't get her name yet but the day will come soon.

Thanks, Rick.
I agree about "the almighty climb" on 13Ks...steep and never-ending...
Position of acc. ladder on "Triple E" looks to be below the freeboard deck.

Nice shot Lappino.... and at long last they have put the accommodation ladder in a sensible place. The almighty climb up to the main deck on the 13K teu, and above, vessels was getting ridiculous when in ballast and on a high tide!
Regards, Rick

I see they have moved the Bridge and deck house a long way forward.
