Photo from my collection since 1963


General cargo ship BRATSTVO of ex shipping company Jugolinija, Rijeka, Croatia (then YU) en route from North Europe to the South ..... by end 1950s.

Built 1958 at shipyard 3.MAJ, Rijeka.
Sunk during heavy storm outside Algerian coast on 11th December 1981.

BRATSTVO on Croatian language means Brotherhood, Fraternity on English language.

I sailed on this ship in 1965 one voyage Rijeka - North Europe - Rijeka as *School boy on practice* but was included on the Crew List and had the Seaman Book.
