9,019 g.t. built in 1962 by Lubecker Flenderwerke A.G. as the 'Neptun'.
Bought by Cable & Wireless in 1977 and renamed Cable Venture she saw a lot of service before being sold to Pounds Shipbreakers in 1998. She was renamed Able Venture for the delivery voyage to Alang for scrapping.
Seen here at Southampton on 18/10/81.
