In the early 1960's I joined Persian Shipping Services, and we operated a non-conference line to the Persian Gulf. We had two Empire vessels, the Persian Cambyses and the Persian Cyrus. I have been on the Cambyses in the Waalhaven in Rotterdam paying off the crew.
