Its nice to see the humphrey morris again, my dad worked on the boat in the early seventies she was moored up in gravesend and was indeed a quarentine launch, the quarantine hospital was also near the mooring.my dad (sadly passed away now) used to take us onboard and we would spend a day going up and down the thames my cousin was the cook on the morris.i live only a few miles from where she lies but I have never been to visit her.its a fantastic photo brings back memories

I believe she was originally operated by the Port of London Health Authority as a quarantine launch.
