Description:

COSCO Development underway from her berth at Container Terminal Tollerort to Finkenwerder anchorage near the Airbus premises at Hamburg.

She was scheduled to leave Hamburg at 1 pm and departed quite on time, but then she had to wait for the arrival of Hyundai Smart at Hamburg as there are restrictions concerning the combined breadth of two ships meeting on the Elbe...

... seen from Rüschpark at Hamburg-Finkenwerder, 06.04.2013

Jacques and Ron - a big thanks for your compliments, they're always much appreciated!:-)

Rick, it may be difficult with the sun at Felixstowe, but the perspective you got is one that most of us landlubbers will never have (which is something I am envious of):-)

Thank you, Rick. With the Big Lady and me it seems to be a slight case of infatuation... every time I've seen her so far she tried for showing me her best side!:-)

And don't be too envious, Hamburg has its limitations, too. By the way, I see that you got two excellent photos of her, too!

Fine, fine shot Jens. I am envious of your wonderful photographic location on the Elbe. The vessel was in Felixstowe on 03/03, and in bright sunshine too, but the port faces South, and when ships are alongside all one can see is steel walls in shadow! :-( Regards from Rick
