Description:

'Queen of Esquimalt' off Salt Spring Island, in British Columbia's Gulf Islands between the mainland and Vancouver Island - 28 June 1972. This is after this vessel was stretched by 25 metres in 1969, increasing its vehicle capacity to 190 from the original 105. Later, in 1982, an additional car deck was inserted above the main car deck, bringing vehicle capacity up to almost 400.

If one find a photo this class of ferry in it's original design, before the mid body was added in the 1970s, you would that these ferries did a pleasing originally.

The assertion that a good looking ferry is hard to find is totally nonsensical! This one, though, I agree is not one.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but this ferry stacks up well against many modern monsters, or piled up monstrocites! mrdot.
