Thanks for the extra info Kyle; enough horses in the race to make it worth placing a bet then!
Regards, Rick

Thanks Rick, Dennis, and Pascal.

Rick, in this particular heat there were 8 tugs, another 7 had participated in the previous heat for smaller tugs.

Regards,
Kyle

An action packed & rare shot Kyle. Great to see the tugs jockeying for position in close quarters.
How many tugs took part overall, do you know?
Thanks and regards, Rick

Thanks Al. They actually are fairly close together, jockeying for position in the race, though I'm sure they look closer together than they are. Directly ahead is the stern of the tug ISLAND CHAMPION. I actually was on shore when I took the picture, but the tugs do run fairly close to the waterfront.

Regards,
Kyle

Great shot Kyle. What's happening here? Are they really that close together or is it just the angle of the picture? Is that another tug in front of the 'DIANE H' ? Were you on another tug? My dad served on the 'GLENDYNE' just before he retired. Regards, Al
