Description:

In May 1979, Trevor Jones achieved remarkable success with photographing the AEGEAN UNITY, the former ICENIC, built at Belfast in 1960 and sold by Shaw, Savill & Albion to Greek owners in 1978.

Sailing from Durban for Maputo, she left that port on 21st May 1979 bound for Rouen. By September/October she had arrived at Da-Nang, Vietnam, sailing direct for a Kaohsiung breakers' yard where she arrived on 12th October 1979.
