Bulk Carrier beached in Gadani - Pakistan at plot # 97, almost a month ago, now the Cutting of the Vessel has started, this is the shape till now as all the side plates , Cabin, wood and some parts of Engine has taken off ......

Those cranes and hatch covers are only a few years old. She was converted from a product tanker in 2010.

It makes me wonder if a vessel deconstructed in this way is constructed in reverse? Does that make sense ?

It looks like a gigantic lead acid battery with the casing cut away.
