I remember seeing this ship tied up at Quebec City way back in 1974. She looked a bit different then, but it's definitely the same ship. She looks in pretty good shape for a 40-year-old warship. The Canadian Navy certainly have gotten their money's worth out of her. I wonder if the Sea-King on the helipad is as old as the ship?

Since their TRUMP refit in the early 1990s, these destroyers have been reclassified as DDGH.

Canada's entire Defence dept. consists of old, obsolete second hand junk. Saw a deuce and a half from the 50's rolling down the highway to the flood relief last week.
