HERA was seen passing Portishead inbound for Avonmouth on 21st September 1972 from Bedi Bunder, India, from where she had sailed on 15th July with a cargo of animal feedstuffs.

Built by John Readhead at South Shields in 1948 as FRED. CHRISTENSEN for Norwegian owners, she was operated from 1964 by Elias Konstantinou and managed by "New York Greeks" Aharnai Shipping Inc. (S.Nickas)

HERA finally arrived at Pasajes on 30th May 1974 to be broken up
