I have the same photo as a postcard published and received from Sumitomo when the ship was built.
So, some times ago, I do the same, with a photo of the tanker WORLD PETROBRAS that I received from Ariake Works of Hitachi Zosen in 1977 and was refused.
The rules of Shipspotting are different to each photographer ?

Thanks for tyhe good words, but it's a Mobil shot. Made a trip to Fairfax in 1997, and got a tour of the shipping floor. It was quite an experience. I am sorry to see this VLCC go. I will WILL read about the controversy. thanks again.
