Last time I was there, the shop in the Boat Museum at Ellesmere Port still had some copies of a book called Coasters of the Manchester Ship Canal which I think is out of print. Anyone wanting to see superb images of coasters on the Canal should try to get a copy of that book.

Great picture Phil. I tend to think of the MSC as being fairly inactive these days but am expecting it to perk up when Port Salford is constructed and developed.
