She was the first "really large" ferry I ever traveled on. It was back in 1989, she was called TRAVEMÜNDE LINK and I was thirteen. Memories...

Thank you for the photo, Petros! Also in the background the KAPITAN LUS and the KAPITAN KUROPTEV, the ones with large superstructure and cranes on deck.

At the very top of the photo is the "Rail Trader-1", another familiar face from the European ferry scene, Originally "Finnfellow". She will be beached shortly.

What a sad end for the former PENELOPE (ex EUROPEAN GATEWAY)... :-( It´s a shame seeing her that way.
