Good shot of this old lady of the sea. I helped build her in 1978 at the Bellinger Division of Jacksonville SShipyards, right in the Intercoastal Waterway. I was the crewleader for the Electricians and saw her officially named, and watched her slide into the water for the first time. I was on her for her first shakedown cruise. Nice to see her plowing the seas still although under a different name. She was first a Panamanian registered ship, and was built to be a commercial fishing vessel, but even with this early 1983 photo I see that her fishing gear is gone and she is hauling freight.
