Dear all,

My dad was part of the crew in 1972. When a French Roll-on-roll-off ship send out a distress call, the Liverpool Bay was the first ship to arrive at the scene. The French ship made water due to shifting cargo and the Liverpool Bay crew rescued a lot of people. Can anyone help me with back-info on this? My dad told me the crew received a medal from the French gouvernement for the rescue.

Feedback would be highly appreciated...

Best regards,

Bas.

Very nice to see one of these (first generation?) containerships in color here. They do not look so much different from nowadays Hamburg-Süd etc. giants :)
