Description:

An old slide I restored with the help of a friend.
Highliner in the early sixties near Montreal. Blt 1948 at Middlesbrough as the Norwegian Mabella. Acquired by Teesdale S.S. in 1959 and getting the name Highliner. For a short time, 1964 to 1966, in service under the canadian flag and in operation by Clarke S.S. Renamed Virgin Mary in 1966 and Petros in 1967.
Jan. 20, 1971, laid up at Cardiff. June 12, 1972, towed to Newport to be scrapped.
