PORT OF COPENHAGEN

Bottom left: Refshaleøen. The large white building and the surrounding areas are the old shipyard, Burmeister & Wain Machine and Ship Building A/S (1865-1996). Burmeister & Wain, (B&W) built the world's first ocean-going diesel motor ship "M/S Selandia". B&W employees at a time 10,000 shipyard workers and ship engineers.

Bottom right: Royal Danish Navy officer's school, located in the military port area called Holmen.

In the middle of the picture: Prøvestenen, Copenhagen Oil Port.

Other observations on photo: Island in the middle of the Øresund called Saltholm. On the horizon coast of Sweden and the top right corner, Øresundsbroen, the bridge between Denmark (Copenhagen) and Sweden (Malmo).
