Thanks for jogging the memory Joerg, I remember the astonishing photos of this event well.
The vessel had to be removed as soon as possible from her semi-sunken position alongside, as she was blocking a significant proportion of Brasil's iron ore export trade.

TRADE DARING broke her back and sank alongside the loading berth at Ponta de Madeira, Brazil, 11.11.1994 whilst loading an ore cargo for Taranto, Italy. She was re-floated in two sections by Smit Tak - the stern section on 09.12.1994 and the forepart on 16.12.1994 - and the loading berth was back in operation by 21.12.1994. The two sections of TRADE DARING were scuttled in deep water 10.01.1995.
