Thanks David for the link, it seems that the AL HANI ,according to the situation in Libya ,will be spending more time in Malta, with docking expenses escalating after more than 6 years berthed at Cassar shipyard surrounded by laid up shipping.
May T take this opportunity David in wishing you and all your loved ones the very best in peace, love, success and health in the new year 2020.
regards
Emmanuel.L.(Malta)

6 years after the EL HANI 212 is still at Cassar Shipyard.,she was supposed to have had a 6 month refit, still berthed at the shipyard, I don't know if she is still manned by Libyan navy personnel, and if so by which faction? What could be her destiny?

She is to have a 6 month conversion to a patrol craft to be used in patrolling the Libyan coast.presumably her heavy weapons such as the missiles will be taken off as her role will be more of the fight against illicit migration.
ncidentally thiese pics were shot by my friend Mario Schembri as today I was without transport. Thanks Mario.
