I believe she was towed to Brownsville TX for scraping. She was an offshore petroleum discharge ship. Her mission was to deliver petroleum products to any spot the military needed it, including beaches and such. On deck is one of the barges that would take the fuel lines to shore, and connect her cargo with the forces on shore.
