This picture was taken on 12th May 1969 as we left Cammell Lairds drydock bound for Fawley. She had just been painted in the 'new' colours (or at least the hull and funnel had. We only left the Mersey for just under a week as we loaded at Fawley and Milford for discharge at Dingle, arriving back in the Mersey on 17th May. I am guessing this was immediately after drydock as the hull still looks very newly painted, and not the next visit 5 days later after a couple of port calls.
