It was four ships..Adria,Istra,Vanga and Brioni.So,Sigval Bergesen,Norwegian shipbuilder allowed the hosts chosen name.ADRIA-Adriatic sea / ISTRA-region of Croatia,with town Pula where was ship built / VANGA and BRIONI - islands of National park

Glad you liked the photos. The bigger sisters ended upp in German interests being named Weser Ore (Tarfala), Rhine Ore (Torne) and Main Ore (Mary R. Koch). They were probably all scrapped in the 1990ies.

I was just reading about these ships yesterday...So it was real nice to come here and see a picture of what I was reading about.
