Maybe interest in Kiel or some German port may be willing to take on the projedt of preserving this wonderful old ship. Surely her useful life is near the end. This is an idea that must not dropped. Maybe an international committee could be formed to accomplish this goal.

Hi Ilhan, thanks for that beautifull shot, from a very, very nice old freighter. yes you're right! she should be saved for the next generations as a museeum ship!!!
her original Winterthur (Switzerland) built Sulzer Brothers Ltd. diesel engine seems still working like a Swiss made clock! :lol: :lol: :lol:
