Hi MattyBoy ,these oilrigs have been "parked up" as you say since the slump in oil prices have forced old rigs to be pulled out of service and scrapped. That quay in particular has been these last years as a form of death row for rigs awaiting tow to Turkey for scrapping,quite a number have passed through here on there way to the cutter's torch .

Hi Jadran, this is the kind of yacht for a slow Adriatic cruise ,sailing from port to port ,sipping cool long drinks on the deck under an awning with a cool sea breeze around you, a good book and not to forget chatting with friends ,bringing up memories of bygone days.....dreams

62 years old and still very attractive, even her colour scheme is very different from the usual white of her more recently built competitors.

This is an interesting shot of this most attractive yacht. I was lucky to see her when I last visited Valletta.
