Asper, are you sure about that? She was the last of a series of 28000/31000 DWT ships, built mainly by the Sun shipyard for Sunoco. She was delivered in 1955. In 1956/1957 the Sun shipyard delivered three naval tankers, with different dimenssions and much more powerful turbines.

The history of the ship began as a tanker of the US Navy, which was then acquired by the Onassis Group (Olympic Maritime).
